IP Intermediaries

The Intellectual property intermediation is an activity aimed at connecting authors, owners of copyright and related rights, and industrial property right holders with producers, to commercialize and trade those rights, support economic circulation, and enhance competitiveness.

In accordance with Article 12.1.13 of the Law on Intellectual Property and the Regulation on the Registration of Intellectual Property Intermediaries, “Art Exchange HUB” LLC has been registered as an Intellectual Property Intermediary and signed a cooperation agreement.

The Law on Intellectual Property introduced a new regulatory framework for legal entities to act as Intellectual Property Intermediaries. Within this framework, procedures for registration and certification have been approved. As a result, five legal entities— “ESAEN” LLC, “Mongol Content” LLC, “Arrangementvision Entertainment” LLC, “Intellectual Property Exchange” LLC, and the Library of the National University of Mongolia—have been granted permission to engage in IP intermediary activities. “Art Exchange HUB” LLC now becomes the sixth intermediary organization. Next time we will introduce their activities in details with interesting conversation.
