The Memorandum of Cooperation
During the official visit of Mongolian Prime Minister L. Oyun-Erdene to the United States of America, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Intellectual Property Office of Mongolia and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The memorandum was signed by G. Elbegsaikhan, Deputy Director of the Intellectual Property Office of Mongolia, and Katherine Vidal, Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office. "Under this memorandum, both parties will promote collaboration through various means, including organizing meetings, training sessions, and seminars focused on the vital role of intellectual property in supporting innovation and economic growth. Additionally, they will address the subjects of intellectual property ownership, use, and protection. The parties also aim to raise public awareness about intellectual property, offer training for patent and trademark experts, and facilitate the exchange of mutual experiences and information. This collaborative endeavor is anticipated to span over the next five years."
