This year, we celebrate the incredible role that intellectual property plays in empowering music creators, artists, and producers. From the studio to the stage, IP helps protect the sounds that move us and the rights behind them. At ATS PARTNERS, we’re honored to support innovators and creators across all industries —including the rhythm-makers shaping our cultural landscape.
Let’s keep the music playing—and the rights protected.
On World Intellectual Property Day, members of AMIPA (The Association of Mongolian IP Attorneys and Agents) gathered to celebrate and discuss the Association’s annual plans and their implementation.
In honor of the day, the Intellectual Property Office of Mongolia organized a practical workshop for officers of the Ulaanbaatar City Customs Administration, focusing on the detection and handling of IP infringement cases. The workshop covered key topics such as identifying trademark violations, recognizing product expiration dates, and utilizing and monitoring databases of registered trademarks, patents, licenses, copyrights, and industrial designs.
Several companies actively participated in the workshop. Representatives from Jur Ur LLC, Mongol Bazalt LLC, Yanmal LLC, and Bosa Holding LLC shared their experiences on preventing counterfeit versions of their original products and collaborating with Customs authorities to safeguard their IP rights (patents, trademarks, and designs).
Today, more companies recognize the crucial importance of protecting and enforcing their intellectual property rights in the marketplace. Notably, the Customs Administration reported that, based on complaints received, they have detected and investigated more than 10 IP infringement cases over the past three years.
